Whilce Portacio
Whilce Portacio began his career inking the Longshot mini-series. He went on to become one of the most dazzling pencilers on Uncanny X-Men, with a stretch of issues in the 280s that included the introduction of the character Bishop. Taking that momentum, he co-founded Image Comics and created Wetworks. Due to the unfortunate illness and passing of his beloved sister, Portacio admirably put his skyrocketing career on halt to grieve and attend family matters.
