Neal Adams
Neal Adams is without a doubt one of the most influential comic artist/inker/story tellers in comics. He revolutionized comic art by bringing a dramatic sense of photo-realism to the page. His groundbreaking work on Deadman, Green Lantern/Green Arrow and Batman are regarded by many collectors as the best comics ever drawn. Not only a revolutionary artist, Neal championed the rights of fellow artists. He helped to improve artists' pay, benefits and royalty payment for the reprinting of their work. In the mid-1970s, along with Jerry Robinson, Neal helped to get Joe Shuster and Jerry Seigel, the creators of Superman, a settlement from DC Comics.
