Jill Thompson first gained her status as comic book royalty by gracing the pages of Sandman's Brief Lives with some of the most memorable artwork of the award-winning series. Not content to rest on her laurels, she created "Scary Godmother" and picked up two Eisner Awards for her innovative works.
