Dick Ayers
Dick Ayers was born in 1924 in Ossining, New York. Serving in the Army during WWII, he got his start drawing a cartoon called "Radio Ray" for the Army newspaper, "Radio Post". After the war, he worked at Timely, Charlton and Atlas. During his long tenure as part of Marvel's Bullpen during the Silver Age, he lent his skills in both inks and pencils to many titles. He is also well reputed for his work inking Jack Kirby. He later went on to teach at the Joe Kubert School of Design and instruct classes at the famed Guggenheim.Source: www.lambiek.net
